Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to Captain Anshuman Singh, the Army’s Regimental Medical Officer, who tragically lost his life in a fire incident at the Siachen glacier yesterday. In a gesture of support to the bereaved family, the chief minister announced a financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh and a government job for one of the family members.
Additionally, Chief Minister Adityanath revealed that a road in Deoria district, Captain Anshuman Singh’s hometown, will be dedicated in his honor as a symbol of remembrance.
Expressing heartfelt condolences to the grieving family, Chief Minister Adityanath assured them that the state government stands with them during this difficult time. He pledged to extend all possible help and support to the family of the deceased officer.
The unfortunate incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday, resulting in the loss of Captain Anshuman Singh’s life, while three other soldiers sustained injuries.
